The influence of financial resources sorting algorithm on the task-fulfillment capability of the National Health Fund’s voivodeship divisions

Summary/Abstract: The organisation of any state is based on systems which aim to supply the society with specific products of socioeconomic progress. One of these is a healthcare system, the purpose of which is to ensure the country’s medical safety. Health policy should include a transparent decision process and control methods. This transparency should extend as well − or indeed especially − to the process of amassing and spending financial resources. The article aims to showcase the changes in the construction of the algorithm used to divide resources between regional sections of the National Health Fund (NFZ), and the influence of these changes on the sections’ affluence, which in turn influences the functioning of healthcare agents.
