The research activities of the Polish enterprises.

Summary/Abstract: In the modern economy innovation is the key tactic leading to a successful entrepreneurship. Unfortunately, in Poland most enterprises base their market position on price competitiveness, not on quality of product or service. The comparison with other countries proves that both the global scale of expenses on research and development and individual commitment of Polish enterprises is lower than in more advanced European countries. The scrutiny of main fields of innovation in which enterprises engage themselves and the barriers which they encounter may help in finding instruments to stimulate innovativeness of Polish economy.
