Summary/Abstract: Data on 7 motor tests, 3 basically anthropometric measures and 36 aberrant behaviour symptoms were gathered of a sample of 92 preschool children. In order to analyse the relation between aberrant behaviour and motor abilities, the bipartial method of canonical covariance analysis with partialisation of age, body height, body weight and subcutaneous fat tissue was applied. Three significant quasi-canonical correlations, all of order of magnitude of 0.50, could be explained by: 1) influence of the neural regulation disorder on the disorder of motor functions, 2) effects of the control of excitation process on the motor functions which depend on tonus regulation, 3) negative influence of subcortical inhibition on alternative inervation of the agonist and antagonist muscles.
