Psychopathic Personality and Depression

Summary/Abstract: Five measures of psychopathic personality pattern and a test of depression were applied to a random sample of 666 male examines 18 years old. Relations of depression and measures of psychopathic personality pattern were assessed by symmetric, asymmetric and segmental correlation coefficients. Significant and substantial asymmetric relations between antisocial personality disorders and depression were obtained. On the basis of psychopathic personality pattern level of depression can be better assessed then the antisocial personality disorder on the basis of depression.
