Summary/Abstract: In this study, subjects as Copper mines in Giresun, coppersmith and copper tradesmen and the process of Giresun ewer have been included. According to the archive records; it has been understood that there were rich copper mines and they were operated by foreigners. The copper jewels have been marketed to inner and foreign market after being processed in the establishements called “kalhane”. Rich stocks made it possible to have a developed copper art in Giresun. In the street known as Kazancılar Street, there were many copper artisans. There were many ewers and frying pans in Giresun style. There is only one artisan left dealing with this art. The copper art are on the verge of disappearing.
