Changes of name in the religious environment

Summary/Abstract: The present paper is related to a previous study devoted to the process and the criteria for electing a new Pope and mostly for changing his name. This time our attention is focused on the Romanian religious background in matters of changing names when entering the church. We have presented both differences and similarities of this complex procedure as well as the reasons that sustain this important choice.
