Summary/Abstract: Developed in correlation with the problematics of identity, the problematics of the proper noun of the novel “Pupa Russa” by Gheorghe Crăciun sets into crisis fundamental categories such as those of language, reality, subjectivity. Subject to some strategies of deconstruction, the proper noun is semiotically decomposed, its relation being problematized with the referent, with the bearing subject, with its own semantic and phonetic body.
