Summary/Abstract: Employee voluntary turnover remains a critical issue for organizations because of the associated costs, disruptions, and potential loss of valuable knowledge, skills, and organizational memory. A lot of research was done on the reasons for voluntarily leaving the workplace in general and less about the reasons for voluntarily leaving the IT sector. Thus, our ability to explain and predict individual voluntary turnover remains limited. In light of this, the question that arises is why employees voluntarily leave their jobs among IT sector? This paper will review the reasons as they are found in the literature. From the reviewed studies, it seems that some of them belong to the internal environment of the organization while others come from outside the organization
