LEISURE TIME OF CHILDREN WITH MENTAL DISORDER FROM THE ASPECT OF SOCIALPEDAGOGICAL WORK

Summary/Abstract: This paper explores the leisure time of children with intellectual disorders, focusing on the actual types and forms of their spending free time. The study was conducted in 2011 on a stratified sample consisting of 101 juveniles with intellectual disorders, whose families were not necessarily included in the program of social assistance. As the leisure time of children with intellectual disorders proved scarcely used, it is important to encourage the specific and general public to the changes, which include better designed assistance of competent institutions, where the leisure time of these children would be filled with adequate content and adjusted to the individual needs of each child.
