The syntagmatics of the noun and verb affix inflections. A morphonological comparison

Summary/Abstract: This paper introduces the results of the analysis made into the domain of the morphonological syntagmatics. The subject of this analysis were the affix inflections in the today literary Romanian. In the first part of the paper the main types of morphotactical structure are defined which include all the noun and verb affix inflections. In the second part of the paper the main types of the phonological structure of all the inflectional affixes are determined. The following part of the paper is devoted to the phonological resources of the noun and verb inflectional affixes. Finally, the last part of the paper concentrates on the processes which occur on the morpheme boundaries.
