The Problem of Interdisciplinarity

Summary/Abstract: My paper analyzes the manifold meanings and practices of interdisciplinarity, isolating and identifying the approaches of modernity and post-modernity. Finally, I attempt to interpret interdisciplinarity as a particularly hermeneutical phenomenon, referring also to its effects on the relationship of philosophy and specialized disciplines.
