Summary/Abstract: This paper studies the spiritual exercise written by Wilhelm Fesenmayr, appeared in 1710 with the title: Betrachtung und Exercitien-Buch fur die Geistliche, Gott-verlobte Closter-Jungfrauen. Th is book was translated to Hungarian by a nun called Anna Terézia Viczay in 1720 (Az elmélkedéseknek és lelki foglalatosságoknak könyve). This eight-day-long exercise is based on meditations, which usually are inspired from the everyday life of the Poor Clares. We are studying the role of the imagination and the use of the senses in this book: how is it connected to the Ignatian tradition and how it becomes special being adapted for the nuns.
