Summary/Abstract: Since 2016, the New Review of Human Rights' Award will be given to personalities who have distinguished themselves through their dedication in promoting and strengthening human rights. Laudatio that accompanies the award will be published each year in the first issue of NRHR, instead of Editorial. In 2014, Emil Moise obtained a remarkable success for children's rights in Romania, in particular, and for the democratic health, long-term safety of Romanian society, from a more general perspective. He persuaded the Romanian Constitutional Court about the necessity to overturn the procedure that parents of minor students, or adult students were required to submit applications to be exempted from attending classes of Religion. Emil Moise is a specific personality of modern times among those which have marked the way to a more inclusive democracy. Remarcable is Emil Moise's concern for children, a devotion that gets forgotten dimension of self. In a society in which children are treated at a mass level, as beings meant to serve adults objectives, his attitude is a true light. The New Review of Human Rights is honored to inaugurate the 2016 Award giving it to Emil Moise.
