Summary/Abstract: Since many years paradoxes have been regarded as an interesting subject of management research. The topic of this paper limits the discussion to the area of creative projects. The aim is to answer research questions concerning the identification of paradoxes in managing such projects. The paper consists of two parts. The first one is based on literature review and its main aim is to identify the major paradoxes in creative project management through the analysis of two key areas: projects and creativity. In the next part the results of empirical research are presented. On the basis of research the specific paradoxes of creative projects are distinguished, and they are connected with demands and expectations of customers.
