Determinats of innovativeness of regional development strategies

Summary/Abstract: The content of this article consists of the following issues: the essence of regional development strategy and innovativeness; the classification of determinants innovativeness regional development strategies in Poland; thecharacteristics of issues of innovativeness in the strategic documents of Mazovia and the analysis of the innovativeness determinants in development strategy of Mazovia. The aim of this article is an indication if innovativeness is the basis of the regional development strategy; and what it is determined by. The aim of the study has primarily the cognitive character; based on the literature and the four strategic documents of Mazovia. The observations and considerations indicate that the basic determinants of innovativeness in development strategies in Mazovia were the guidelines of innovation policy in the EU and national level in adapting to productive resources and scientific-research potential.
