Summary/Abstract: This paper initially examines the importance of Isa 6:9–10 and its idea of divine hardening in the context of the entire Book of Isaiah. It consequently compares the Hebrew and the Greek version of Isa 6:9–10 and attempts to expose possible reasons on the part of the translator for his rendering of these difficult verses.
