Summary/Abstract: The work “Family Law” belonging to Mrs. Codruţa Hageanu, lecturer at the Faculty of Law, the Lucian Blaga University in Sibiu was recently published, in November 2012, by the Humanitas Publishing House Bucharest. The paper includes an exhaustive discussion of the institutions of this autonomous branch of private law. The volume, edited within the academic book collection, has twelve chapters structured based on the institutions regulated by the book on Family of the new Civil Code. Thus, we find here chapters on marriage and personal effects and property, divorce, parentage and filiation, adoption, spousal support, parental authority and civil status documents.
