Summary/Abstract: This article intends to analyze the ceramics, more precisely the lot of complete or fragmentary clay pots discovered in the eneolithic site of Seciu (Prahova county), in 2009. The approach is only a preliminary one, in which the typological analysis will prevail. We consider such an approach as a useful one, since materials from this category, analyzed and published, are rare for this geographical area. Although the archeological research covered only a small surface, the ceramic samples we collected are quite representative. The lot is very rich and diversified, encompassing most of Gumelnita’s eneolithic ceramic typologies from Walachia.
