Summary/Abstract: This paper is focused on the implications of the Committee of Kosovo within Plava and Gucia events and uprising in 1919. The Kosovo Committee has had a membership in all Albanian territories; in the province of Plava and Gucia as well. Thus, the Central Committee, through internal correspondences, has been informed in detail about the situation all around Albanian territories, including Plava and Gucia. As an answer to the request from Central Presidency in Shkodra, from Committee’s activists around the Albanian territories - also in Plava and Gucia - were sent in Shkodra more information on the Serbian genocide against Albanians. It was also sent many statistics with regard to the structure of the population in these areas. On the other site, a significant number of these testimonies and statistics has been sent by the Committee to the Conference of Versailles, before the Great Powers, as testimonies of Serbian massacres in Plava and Gucia. Among others, these testimonies and statistics were enduring evidences that Plava and Gucia have been historically populated mostly by Albanians. This is the crucial reason why the Kosovo Committee poured in a lot of efforts in organizing the uprising of 1919 in this region.
