The Identification of Categories "Position and Role of State in International Relations"

Summary/Abstract: Predominant and the most important players of international relations are states. Although their autonomy and functions are continually vanishing due to the trans-nationalization of economy and other spheres of social life there are no other subjects which could replace the role of states and face global challenges. Survey of small states, their position and status within the system of current international relations, can be conducted on three basic levels – regional (for example Central Europe), continental (for example Europe) and global.
