Summary/Abstract: Presented are the results of a study in six directorates for social assistance in Haskovo, conducted with a sample of 150 respondents. The main objective is to explore the manifestations of burnout syndrome and influence of individual factors on environmental conditions on the syndrome as a whole and its scales – emotional exhaustion, dehumanization and reduced performance. It was found emotional exhaustion and dehumanization disability – components of burnout syndrome are prominent among the workers in the field of Social Welfare Haskovo.
