Summary/Abstract: The report asserts the idea that the communication is an integral part of the society and the major way of transmitting and receiving information. It shall carry and exchange thoughts and feelings, ideas and messages. The dance as an art form refers to the group of plastic arts where motions and the position of the human body are instruments for creating artistic images. The present report is an attempt to examine the specificity of nonverbal communication as a part of the information process and the dance as a way to transmit non – verbal artistic messages in the communication process. The most commonly used means of communication, stages and methods of feedback are explored. Special emphases are put on the gestures and the body positioning in the space.
