Summary/Abstract: Review of book Nic nie jest pewne. O twórczości Ewy Lipskiej (Arkadiusz Morawiec and Barbara Wolska, eds.), a collection of critical essays on Ewa Lipska’s poetry. The Academy of Humanities & Economics in Łódź, Łódź, 2005. The book under review is the first comprehensive study devoted to Ewa Lipska’s output. The authors have focused on issues being key to this oeuvre, such as Death, Illness, Evil, Time, Love, Being. The book also offers a discussion on the issue of human finiteness as tackled by the poet, the response being a turn one can make to (a) finiteness itself or to its contradiction, i.e. infiniteness.
