Summary/Abstract: In this paper we have presented the concept of multi-criteria and multi-goal decision- making modeling problems. We have given a short overview and explanation of the multi-attribute, multi-goal and multi-criteria decision making. We have defined all the necessary attribute characteristics and have given the simplest models of transforming qualitative into quantitative attributes. We have paid special attention to the iterative Electre method as the simplest and most frequently used multi-criteria analysis in situations with a few opposite criteria. Electre method has a special place in the field of quantitative methods in management. In this paper, we have explained the method step by step, first mathematically, formally and then through an actual (hypothetical) example, through iterations, that leads to final decision about choosing the best alternative.
