USING SOCIAL NETWORKS WITHIN ELEARNING 2.0

Summary/Abstract: The purpose is to provide an insight into participant’s interest for learning in virtual environment and for using forums and different types of social networks in the learning process. We want to emphasize and analyze the importance of forums and networks in Distance Education process from the view point of an ethically distribution of knowledge. Results from an international comparison of Slovenian and Romanian undergraduate students are presented in paper. In discussion we make some suggestions about using Social Networks within eLearning 2.0, particularly in Distance Education.
