Summary/Abstract: The forced execution is performed in virtue of a writ of execution, and among these, the highest importance is recognized to the judgment through the New Code of civil procedure. The conditions of the commencement of the forced execution procedure were not subject to substantial amendments in the new regulation, as the legislator included certain significant expressions for the forced execution, such as “the final judgment” in the matter of making enforceable the prescription of the right to get the forced execution. The enforcement of the judgments rendered abroad shall be subject to the rules prescribed by the European standards, directly applicable and binding to the Member States, by the provisions of the international conventions to which Romania is a party, and in default of these, by Title III of the Book VII of the New Code of Civil Procedure, entitled the International Civil Proceedings.
