Summary/Abstract: Report on 35th All-Polish Literary-Theoretical Conference ‘Writing history as reading literature’, held by Historical Poetics Laboratory, Institute for Literary Research, Polish Academy of Sciences, Warsaw, the Theory of Literature Department, Institute of Polish Studies, University of Gdańsk, and the Szczecin branch of the Institute of National Remembrance (Darłowo, 20th–23nd September 2007). The event was devoted to links between historiography and literary studies in the context of contemporary archives.
