Summary/Abstract: One of the main tasks of Foreign Service archive protection of archives in emerging ie. Near holders and creators. Information on records agencies, as well as their attitude towards their own archival material, water through precise records by external service archives. To successfully perform these operations, foreign service should be used certain innovations, and more modern approaches to making and keeping records, and through the use of information technology on the development of databases and digital registers.The digital way of knowing and business approach is different than analog, although each has its own advantages, disadvantages or limitations. Digital technology is a valuable tool for improving and expanding sources of information, but it takes constant learning, training and application of this knowledge to develop applications as well-featured set of tools that will help in the archives of further business. Therefore archival employees, especially employees of external service archives, the obligation to monitor, study and apply modern trends and standards when it comes to the application of information technology, knowledge of the archival profession and cooperate with each other and share experiences.
