Summary/Abstract: The following notes have been occasioned by the conference “Vingt ans et le temps du droit”, which marked the anniversary of the France‐Romanian College of Bucharest. The opinion delivered by the Court of Justice of the European Union in December 2014 seems to perfectly illustrate to what extent the consequences of time are unpredictable in law. That is precisely the reason why the time frame marks theinterstices of this text, which aims to annotate the said opinion. Furthermore, upon reflection, the frame of comparison, perhaps less obvious, is by no means devoid of interest.
