Summary/Abstract: ISAD(G) is, by far, the most acknowledged standard for archives, that also comprise a data model, about the structure and relation between archival entities. Besides, there are also some other attempts to codify these complex relationships and also those of creators or functions. Also, there have been developed some data models for records management that might be interesting to be regarded and connected to archival models, as part of the same lifecycle of records. The present paper aims to give a brief presentation of these data models, with some critical remarks.
