Summary/Abstract: Ever since it was born, with the development of the electronic computer, during the 1950s-1960s period, the Internet has revolutionized the field of computers and communication, never before known, but it was only in the early 1990s, with the advent of the global on-line network World Wide Web (www), that it became available to the public.Among the multitude of definitions attributed to this global interconnection, much easier to understand is the one which says that the Internet is a world-wide computer network in which computers connected on different local networks are able to communicate with each other and with which people from different parts of the world can exchange information or send and receive messages. An interesting aspect that has not come to the attention of the majority of Internet users is that the Internet is divided into two unequal and so different parts: - the Visible Internet (or Surface Web), encompassing only 4% of the content of the World Wide Web; it is known to all individuals, its content can be accessed using search engines like Google or Yahoo and is under constant surveillance; - the Hidden Internet (also known as Hidden Web vs. Deep Web) comprising 96% (!) of the World Wide Web content; its content can not be recognized by search engines such as those mentioned above and is hard to keep track of its records. The main advantage of the Hidden Internet is anonymity. Users can not be detected through their IP address and, therefore, neither in a physically way, regarding their geographic location. Such degrees or levels of intimacy usually lead toward adoption of unlawful conduct and, unfortunately, this part of the Internet is mainly characterized by such behavior. In this era of Internet usage anytime and anywhere, no legal field has been missed, and the contract institution was adapted for virtual reality, thus taking birth the contract performed in an electronic form.
