Summary/Abstract: As the very title states, this will primarily be a critical review of the “Bologna Process implementation at the University of Sarajevo, primarily at the Sarajevo Faculty of Political Sciences. One initial question may be raised – whether or not the “Bologna Process” has truly been implemented the right way; more importantly, whether it has been truly implemented and what is the extent of contribution it brings to our higher education. It should be emphasized that there is no alternative to the “Bologna Process”. Its full, primarily functional implementation, for the benefit of both students and professors, has been made an imperative. Introductory part of the article deals with the issue related to the degrees given to the students who complete the studies according to the Bologna system, as well as with the way the degrees acquired during the previous system of education are recognized, continuation of doctoral studies, systematization of work, etc. This also raises the issue of students’ mobility at the European universities, which is one of preconditions of the reform. The issue is made even worse keeping in mind that the subjects English Language and IT have been removed from the Sarajevo Faculty of Political Sciences’ Curriculum. One of the issues treated is the recognition of our diplomas in the EU countries. In that sense, problems in the “Bologna Process” implementation in the countries of the region and in the EU have been exemplified.
