Organization and Functioning of Faculty of Dental Medicine and of the Accompanying Clinics, in the Light of the Higher Education Reform

Summary/Abstract: Medical groupation of higher education institutions is different from other educational and scientific groupations in that it is based on a specific principle: education and helath. The educative team consists of teaching stuff, students and patients. Faculty of dental medicine in sarajevo has been defined by the cantonal law on higher education as the faculty of dental medicine with clinics, which clearly indicates the complexity of our services. The services can be described as educational (under and postgraduate studies, nurse training programs, etc) and healthcare. Keeping in mind all these services, this institution also needs to obey certain legal frames.In accordance to the higher education reform, faculty of dental medicine and clinics is specific in comparison to the other faculties of this groupation. Our organizational structure may serve as a prime example of a successful implementation of the Bologna process.
