Summary/Abstract: The approaches of the comparison between labour capacity and economic activity are reviewed in the offered article. Numerous aggregates are defined and calculated — the expected labour active life, the current year and the expected (during the whole expected labour life) gross product and consumption of the population. The product for society is measured as a residual of gross product and the consumption of the population. Econometric models of production and consumption impacted by age variation are presented. The above mentioned indicators are calculated by these models regarding stable population or some real population cohorts. The comparative study of 11 versions of population projection for 80 years is made by variations of the net fertility rate of 05—1.5.
