Summary/Abstract: The article undertake the problem of centralization of business. Centralisation is also a factor contributing to the reduction of its regional character. Conditions of centralization and decentralization, as well as their possible consequences were presented. This gave rise to the analysis of centralization of banks operating on the Polish market and to draw conclusions.
