Summary/Abstract: Among the events designed to mark the end of a quarter century after the fall of the communist regime the project „After 25 years. Communism in Eastern Europe” it is also included, project which was designed in two parts: one part with the events designed to draw attention to significant data for the regime back then, to some phenomena of communism and some unwanted events regime, and the other part editorial, whose results began to appear in October 2014. In the editorial component, so far, there have been released seven works: Sorin Bocancea (coord.) ”From the student press in communism to the press in post-communism” (2014); Sorin Bocancea & Mircea Mureșan, ”This is how we spent the Revolution” (2014); Alina Hurubean (coord.), ”The status of women in Communist Romania. Policy and privacy” (2015); Mioara Anton, Bogdan Crețu, Daniel Șandru (coord.), ”Words of power. Literature, intellectuals and ideology in Communist Romania” (2015); Constantin Ilaș (coord.), ”Exile in your own country” (2015); Sorin Bocancea & Doru Tompea, ”Two decades of communism in the academic Iași” (2015); Sorin Bocancea (coord.), ”Romanian revolution. Militaries, missions and diversions” (2015). All works were published by the European Institute Publishing and appeared in the collection „Frontier texts”, from the Series „After 25 years. Communism in Eastern Europe”, coordinated by Prof. PhD Sorin Bocancea, who is also the coordinator of the whole project.
