Functions of Literary Chrematonyms (With the Examples from Plays Written for the Jára Cimrman Theatre)

Summary/Abstract: The article is based on an analysis of chrematonyms which are used in fifteen plays written for the Jára Cimrman Theatre. Firstly the article deals with the difficulties with the analysis of this group of literary proper names. The main part of the article discusses the use of the functions of literary chrematonyms. Last part discusses real chrematonyms and fictitious chrematonyms.
