Summary/Abstract: The article studies old Slavonic translations of the Genuklisia service in slavonic euchologium from the XI–XVI centuries. The Slavonic tradition may be subdivided into four redactions. The first redaction is found in the Euchologium Sinaiticum and its text has many deviations from the other Slavonic redactions. The first prayer corresponds to the ancient text in the Euchologium Barberini 336 and in Γ.β.VII. The third and the fourth prayer also have important variant readings and they are probably also translated from ancient redactions, that have not been traced yet. Thus, the Genuklisia service in the Euchologium Sinaiticum is a variant of an ancient Byzantine liturgical practice and a unique witness of the ancient text of the third and the fourth Genuklisia prayer.
