Summary/Abstract: By using personal experiences in processing of the personal archival papers, as well as more recent theoretical literature, this paper tries to show the basic principles of arrangement of the aforementioned types of archives, together with their practical usage, based on the example of the personal papers of the renowned Croatian and Bosnian-Herzegovinian intellectual and public worker Ciro Truhelka. Due to limitations of time and space the text only analyses the central theoretical, methodological and practical procedures that in the end resulted with the arrangement and producing of the finding aid of the fonds in question.
