Summary/Abstract: The article discusses the interactions between the sea and human activity based on the different geomorphological aspects of shorelines. Mankind is more and more responsible for the way that oceans and seas look today, but the interaction between the sea and different geomorphological formations results in itself in a great variety of shorelines.
