Summary/Abstract: The article explores the e-learning facilities that can be useful in the development of the epistemic competency project. It offers a possible bridge between epistemology, metacognition and IT relevant tools, altogether assembled in an attempt towards a holistic approach. The goal is to provide the learner with a friendly environment for learning complex notions dealing with knowledge that can prove essential in better tackling everyday complex problems.
