Summary/Abstract: The article is aimed to analyse the processes of transferring tacit knowledge, which could serve for creating premises of its further application and for increasing intellectual resources in the organization. In order to reveal tacit knowledge flows on individual and organizational levels, the positive and negative influences of using information technologies (IT) are discussed. They cover various aspects of IT-based changes in employee relations inside the organization and the organizational structure as well. The findings of empirical research, fulfilled in a group of Lithuanian organizations, show significant interrelationships of IT, tacit knowledge flows and relationships among the employees.
