Summary/Abstract: Because of the strongly accentuated context out of literature, remarkable biography, personal and literary „nomadism” in life, Mirko Kovač, who left Belgrade in 1991 in a gesture of disapproval for Slobodan Miloševič’s policy, was bound with Croatia by his novels wrote in the language and the move to Croatian Rovinja. The target of the dissertation is an attempt to place the literary legacy of M. Kovač in the canon of Croatian literature. In postmodern perspective it can be done with the concepts of intercultural literary, creating hipercanons and referring to the research on hybrid identity, as well as moving the centers to the outskirts and becoming interested in the phenomenon of borderland.
