Home as a place of manifestation of existence. A thought collected in eleven comments

Summary/Abstract: The concept of “home” has many meanings. The idea is indeed trivial, howeverworth of notice, and highlighting. It may indicate a specific building,designed to ensure that people can live in it. For this reason, it always hasa specific shape, has walls that separates it from the rest of the surroundingsas well as a ceiling that separates it from influence of the weather. It has a function,being a place of refuge, rest, likewise action. It is established by whatmight be called “a moment of initiation”, it involves an architect’s thought, themind of the one who is meant to live there, and finally the entire set of a legalnature activities, that provides a possibility for building it. This term canalso be used in a broader meaning. It is then the world which is a place whereI live, I experience the passage of time. At a certain moment I appear on it,gradually coming to the realization that “I am, I exist”, that “I recognize, experience,deny, tell statements”, that “I love, hate, scream, cry”, that “I work, I admire,I get tired”, and finally I am leaving it, and this fact, meaningful for me isbeing noticed by the smaller or slightly larger group of people only. In presentedarticle, we put the matter of home as a place where a mystery of existenceemerges. How to understand this sentence? Sequentially presented thoughtsare an attempt to answer this question.Mirosław
