Summary/Abstract: In the article the author describes the problem of a childfree life in light of queer theory in an effort to show how voluntary childlessness enters into relations with non-normative cultural areas. The perception of living childfree as a behavior situated outside social norm reveals, in my opinion, reveals the biopolitical conditioning underlying our contemporary understanding of procreation and parenthood. Social resentment against voluntary childlessness is promoted through visual images and characters that are something like homophobic performances of non-normativity.
