Summary/Abstract: The purpose of these considerations is to reflect on acquiring qualifications to teach two foreign languages and the use of the acquired knowledge and skills in school practice, as well as the presentation of the results of a survey conducted among active teachers qualified to teach English and Russian. The search for optimal solutions in this area seems to be important due to the needs of the labor market, related to the employment of school teachers – doublesubject teachers.
