Summary/Abstract: As the role of fathers within families evolves, finding out how these changes impact their quality of life seems to be very important. This is especially relevant for fathers with disabilities for they have to face more numerous difficulties. In this paper the authors present research results. 31 fathers with various types of disabilities were interviewed and the interviews were analyzed showing the respondents’ constraints and possibilities in fulfilling a father’s role.
