Securitisation funds and sustainable development of financial market in Poland

Summary/Abstract: The paper focuses on problems of securitisation and conditions of functionning of securitisation investment funds in the scope of their influence onto sustainable growth of financial market in Poland. To complete the paper, the authors characterized the definition of securitisation, described functionning of securitisation investment funds in Poland and indicated directions and areas of their using in support of sustainable development. The paper contains the results of investigation with research questionnaire conducted by the authors on the group of investment fund companies in scope of their engagement in the development of securitisation. The results indicate that despite a broad range of possibilities of using securitisation, such a technique is predominantely used to manage non-performing bank loans.
