Summary/Abstract: The study is based on the recognition, without reserve, of the important role of intellectual creation in the evolution of people. The author made a brief foray into international regulations, fiducial in the case of copyright with the particularities which it implies, contributing to the improvement of the legal framework in the protection of international copyright. The first part, not incidentally, ends with the Internet Treaties, whose effectiveness is necessarily required by the accelerated progress made in the digital counterpart of copyright protection, quite vulnerable in this environment. The second part presents the copyright system, with special focus on US law in this area, being captured the amendments brought by its accession to the Berne Convention.
