Summary/Abstract: Consumption choice relies upon the consumer’s social environment and also the company action within the context of the consumption society, the behaviour being determined by the complex interaction of the cultural, social, personal and psychological factors. A decision may depend on the novelty or repetition character, as compared to a previous acquisition. It may also consider the original feature or that of an item tried and tested, or the routine or exceptional character of that acquisition. The companies, by their marketing departments, must be extremely careful while analysing or trying to understand how the consumers take their buying decision.
